I got to experience my first official Ukrainian wedding, when my friend Oleg married his love, Larisa on September 17, 2011. I rode with a few friends to Lutsk, Ukraine (Larisa is from a village outside Lutsk) and got to stay with some wonderful SEND missionaries (another highlight of the trip.) I experienced driving for the first time in Ukraine....(which was totally frightening....but I was able to help pick people up and bring them to the wedding---so it made it worth it) It was a long weekend, but I am so thankful that I got to celebrate their special day with them!!!!
