It's something you really need to see with your own eyes. I am telling you....the beauty that occurs along the Ukrainian roads in the summer cannot be captured properly with any camera. Sometimes it looks like the golden fields continue forever. It is so wonderful. Susanna and I stopped for a little photo session on our way to camp last week. Enjoy!
Our "Удивительное Путешествие 2011" or "Amazing Journey " camp came to an end on Saturday. It was a very busy week! Three MK's (missionary kids) from Odessa and two other Ukrainians were able to come and help with camp. We were really thankful to have extra people. There were about 30-40 kids at camp each day, most of them were from the orphanage across the street. It was really amazing to hear them recite the memory verses everyday and they seemed to really enjoy the Bible lessons that Dima lead. They were forced to work as a team during the daily games, and that was often a huge challenge for most of the them. During sport time they were given the opportunity to expel their excess energy. Masterpieces were created in every craft time. They were a group of kids. We had three teams: Team Dolphin (ages 10-12), Team Dynamite (ages 13-14), Team Puma (15-16).
We praise God that were were able to put together a camp this year. Please checkout the link to get a little taste of what our camp was like!
I moved back to Odessa, Ukraine in May 2011 after spending a year and a half in Balta, Ukraine. While in Balta we saw God's mighty hands work in the church. We praise God for all that He has done and is continuing to do with His church!
