MAY

Here is my new haircut...

May has been a pretty busy month.

-I got the internet!
(It was quite the ordeal!)
-Got to speak at one of the orphanage and a few schools.
(Most of the kids said that it was the first time they had heard a foreigner speak Russian.)
-I've been teaching Sunday School
(4-10 kids)
-Went to Odessa
(Got to help with my friend's engagement!)
-I have been busy in the garden.
(Enjoying spinach, lettuce, as well as cherries from our tree!)
-Got my first sunburn.
(I forgot sunscreen that day)
-Have been working on papers and reading for my Masters Class.
(Hoping to be done this week!)

Something is wrong with my computer. I will upload pictures of all these things when I get it figured out!

Samaritain Purse Boxes....

A youth choir from a city outside of Odessa came to Balta a few weeks ago. They performed and then we handed out shoe boxes to the kids in the 2 orphanages in Balta.

It was a pretty busy day. I really enjoyed it. We had several guests including 10 children. I had brought a little craft to do with them. I fumbled my way through a short lesson about Easter and we made a craft. After the service we shared a meal together. It was a really great time!
