Mosse Mansion Dinner Round One

Alfie and Julie warmly opened their home to a crew of seminary students...(and myself)

We had a wonderful night of laughter and delicious pizza!

Inga's first taste of Odessa's center!

I am pretty sure we fell victim to an ultimate tourist trap-- of a restaurant. The waitresses were dressed head to toe in "traditional" Ukrainian garb. The decor was over the top... but totally wonderful...

There was a pair singing/playing traditional Ukrainian songs.

INGA has arrived!

On February 14--my teammate and dear friend arrived in Ukraine!

To welcome her and introduce her to the ladies at the seminary...we organized a little girls night. We made scones, drank tea, and play skip-bo.

Shyriaieve

Andre and Vatlik have been living in Shyriaieve as missionaries for the last 3 years. Andre studies at Odessa Theological Seminary during the week and travels back to Shyriaieve every weekend. We had the opportunity to take part in their service and talk with them about their work.

Handicap Center...

I got to visit a handicap center with a group from Grace Church in Odessa.

They put on a little musical performance....

It was really fun to talk with some of the people that meet at the center.

I could understand more than I thought I could. It was such a wonderful time. Hopefully I will be able to get involved with the center somehow!
